Video: Black Bear Climbs into Tree Stand with Hunters

One tree stand, two very different reasons to be there. As two hunters sat in their stand in an unknown location, a black bear was scared up into the their tree by another black bear. For a few tense moments, all three sit in the tree stand waiting to see who would make the first move. No bear or hunter was harmed in the making of this video, but the experience definitely does reinforce what your camp counselor told you, “climbing trees does not keep you safe from bears.”
