Red Bull KTM factory rider Marvin Musquin had a great weekend at the 27th Edition of the Geneva Supercross in the PalExpo exhibition center finishing second to American Justin Brayton in the MX1 class but riding a KTM 250 SX-F
The French rider, in Europe during the break in AMA competition is known to be passionate about Supercross. He came to Geneva to contest the MX1 class on his smaller KTM 250 SX-F because he wanted some hard competition before the opening of the US SX season in Anaheim on January 5, 2013.
Musquin already showed his riding skill on Friday night on Day one of the event to finish second to Brayton and then returned on Saturday for another top ride. He won his heat in the early part of the program and although he missed the start of the main event and found himself in the middle of a tight pack. He worked his way up to fourth place with a handful of laps to go then hit the gas and vaulted to second place behind the leader riding the more powerful MX1 machine.
Marvin’s performance before the sell out crowd was a good indication of his form in the run up to the US season.
