Colorado’s Roxborough State Park Hosts 2012 Holiday Sale and Book Signing

Roxborough State Park will host a holiday sale and an authors’ book signing on Saturday, Dec. 8. The sale will be held between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Four local authors will be available between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to present and sign copies of their books about Colorado’s offerings.
All books, calendars, cards, clothing and more will be on sale at 10 percent off. Holiday shopping is fun at Roxborough and the proceeds benefit the park. It’s a great opportunity to combine a hike in the park or an outdoor adventure with holiday shopping. Make it an annual tradition!
Authors John Meeker, Dave Muller, Jack Reed, and Elizabeth Wallace will each offer a 20-minute presentation about their book and a book signing will follow. Their books will be available at a 10 percent discount off the cover price. These autographed books make perfect Christmas presents for everyone on your list! The books are: “Camp Tahosa- History Unfolding” by John Meeker; “Quiet Winter Trails” & “Colorado Lake Hikes” by Dave Muller; “Rocks Above the Clouds” by Jack Reed; and “Hidden History of Denver” by Elizabeth Wallace.
