Outdoor Channel, America’s Leader In Outdoor TV, today announced that Randy Brown, Executive Vice President, Affiliate Sales and Marketing, has been awarded his fourth consecutive CableFAX 100 Award. The award showcases the “who’s who” of the cable industry, setting the industry benchmark for excellence across all areas of cable. The honor was presented at the Grand Hyatt hotel in New York City on December 5th, 2012.

Outdoor Channel continues to grow its distribution under Brown’s leadership domestically and internationally. In 2012, Outdoor Channel continued to build its subscriber base and in September alone, the network reached a significant achievement adding 1.1 million subscribers on cable systems such as Comcast and RCN in the northeast. Outdoor Channel now reaches 38.6 million U.S. households.
The network also made notable gains in international distribution this year, including launching deals in Sweden and Russia through Chello Zone and Indonesia and Taiwan through Multi-Channels Asia. Outdoor channel now reaches more than seven million international subscribers, in addition to more than 60 million part-time digital pay TV households in China.
