Matt Shaw likely has a crazier story to tell than most other hunters his age. During a hunt in Oregon, Shaw and his buddies were tracking a buck that they had previously seen chasing a doe. As they set up below the crest of a hill, they spotted pair of antlers posturing over the ridge. Then another set of antlers appeared, and suddenly Shaw and his companions had front row seats for a no-holds-barred buck brawl. They barely managed to jump out of the way as the deer tumbled down the hill towards their set up, knocking over their spotting scope in the process. Shaw was later able to successfully harvest one of the dueling bucks.
