Crosman Corporation, long known for innovation and quality and safety in the shooting sports, today announced that Haley and G.O. Heath, hosts of the Sportsman Channel show “Family Traditions with Haley Heath,” will visit the Crosman SHOT Show booth #13940 on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 3 to 4 p.m. Their appearance will promote the Progressive Agriculture Foundation (PAF) Safety Day Program for which Haley and her family are spokespersons.
According to Crosman Vice President of Marketing, Roy Stefanko, Crosman has a long history with the Progressive Agriculture Foundation. “With safety as a mainstay at Crosman, the PAF program dovetails with our own efforts of placing safety first in all things having to do with the shooting sports. We’re delighted to have Haley and G.O. Heath join us to promote the Safety Day Program at this year’s SHOT Show,” said Stefanko.
Randy Bernhardt, chief administrative officer of the Progressive Agriculture Foundation (PAF), agrees. “Our partnerships with Crosman and the Heath family complement one another perfectly. Many outdoor enthusiasts come from rural America. The Safety Day Program provides rural youth and their families with crucial education on gun safety, ATV safety, knife safety and much more. We’re proud to work with Crosman and the Heath family in promoting the Safety Day Program as a tool to help make safety a priority with everyone in the outdoor community,” he said.
The Heath family’s popular television program reveals an inside look at ‘outdoor’ families that hunt together. “In this crazy world, where spending time with family takes a back seat to providing for one,” says Haley Heath, “we show how families like ours can accomplishing both at the same. Our family is enthusiastic about our relationship with Crosman and our partnership with the PAF Safety Day Program,” she said. “Our days start and end on the farm, and our goal is to help instill the idea of safety in our children and the Safety Day Program does just that. We look forward to getting out in the field with the program, and helping to keep kids safe in and around farms and ranches,” says Heath.
PAF boasts 1 million participants during its 17-year history. “Crosman contributions have been crucial to reaching that goal,” said Bernhardt. Crosman recently increased funding to PAF, allowing for the development of new gun safety lessons. The company also donated airguns to Safety Day Program volunteers for demonstration purposes and to educate youth about gun safety. This support helps PAF to reach 102,000 rural youth and adults each year with safety instruction.
