Robinson Outdoor’s 1st Annual V.I.P. (Very Innovative Products) ATA Runway Show

Robinson Outdoor Products, LLC., the leading innovator in scent control technology, hunting apparel, scent eliminating liquids, and tree stand safety equipment, today announces a product innovation showcase during the 2013 ATA Show.

Robinson Outdoor Products in partnership with the ATA will conduct the very first “Very Innovative Products Runway Show” on the ATA showroom floor at booth 1043. It will consist of an elevated runway complete with professional models, lights and cameras, plus music, big overhead screen viewing, fog machines and Emcee Jim Ferguson of Revolution Radio on a commanding sound system. Free seating for 250 inside curtained walls will provide up-close viewing of all new archery products being introduced for the archery trade in 2013. New product introductions, technologies and hunting innovations will be featured in every runway show.

Says Michael Swan, Marketing Director of Robinson Outdoor Products, “The opportunity to work with the Archery Trade Association to create such a fun and different event on the show floor should add a festive element to the annual show. By collaborating with the ATA, we are bringing attendees and manufacturers together in an exciting and interactive show with multiple opportunities to catch the excitement. The media is encouraged to take advantage of the consolidation of innovative products being introduced – with new items being shown at each show.”

Maria Lewis, ATA Trade Show Coordinator said, “The ATA is excited by Robinson’s effort to add this new and innovative dimension to the ATA Trade Show. We feel this will provide value and create excitement for the dealers who attend our show”.

The runway show is scheduled three times a day for both Monday the 7th and Tuesday the 8th, with two shows on Wednesday morning. Professional models will strut the runway high-lighting product(s) in a professional display for all to see, hear and learn about first. Multi-angle cameras will zoom in tight to capture product details viewed overhead while the emcee announces detailed product features and benefits. The introductions will include bows, clothes, tree stands, pop-up blinds, bow sights, packs, bags, accessories, arrows, broadheads, targets, feed, seed, calls, and everything in between – all in one venue. If it can fit on the runway the models and emcee will make a powerful introduction and the cameras will grab all the details.

It sounds obvious, but behind the scenes of every technical product at Robinson Outdoor Products LLC is a history of exhaustive use, abuse and in lab testing. We start with an idea, a need, and then seek out the finest fabrics, materials and formulas and start exploring design solutions to meet the need. Our advanced product lab tests materials, compatibility, performance levels and effectiveness scores with crucial data, but the final step is most crucial. We head into the field, because real world hunting needs can’t be solved in the lab alone. Such full-on testing often exposes details that might otherwise be overlooked. For example, designing hood or headcovers on a mannequin in the office is one thing. Until you climb up a high placed treestand and pull it over your head and try to draw a bow and shoot that you realize your vision and draw is compromised when that chance of a lifetime walks out. From this in-depth field-testing we have developed some of the most unique details and benefits that go into our products. Offset main zippers for clean shooting, diamond crotch gusset for a resistant free climb into a treestand, Silent Wrist Ratchet Body Lock for on stand adjustment, Gearpendent Technology for minimal movement while reaching for gear, Zip-off removable arm guard for non-restrictive shooting, tree harness slit for integrated attachment, perfect fit, function and the list goes on. Honestly, it's an evolution of understanding more than anything else. It's years of experience and many days, weeks and months of sitting in the tree stand, on the stalk, in the bottomlands, on top of the mountains shivering, sweating and soggy moments figuring out what something really does and why and what we can do to make it hunt better.
