According to the Detroit Free Press, a baby red deer has somehow mistaken itself for a lamb and joined up with a flock of sheep. As seen in the video below, the deer has been accepted by the sheep family and seems to be perfectly content. The shepherd who owns the flock said the baby deer appeared two weeks ago and have followed the flock around since.
Sheep are generally not territorial in nature and have been known to accept outsiders. This case however, is very unusual and hopefully the deer will be able to rejoin its original family (and original species) soon.
