Sponsorship Includes Captains Cash Contingency at All Events

JL Marine Systems Inc, the manufacturer of Power Pole shallow water anchor systems, has joined the Inshore Fishing Association (IFA) as official sponsor for the 2013 season.  Power Pole joins some of the fishing industry’s most respected brands as a tour sponsor of the IFA Redfish and Kayak Tours.  As part of the agreement, Power Pole will also sponsor the all-new Lucas Oil IFA Pro-Am Redfish Challenge series presented by Cabela’s.

“Power Pole is a phenomenal addition to our group of sponsors,” said IFA Marketing Director Bart Schad. “They build an incredible product that’s become an essential part of so many inshore anglers’ approach to fishing and competing.  We’re excited to partner with them and the response from IFA anglers has been overwhelming.  We really look forward to growing our relationship in 2013.”

The Tampa, Florida-based company has become an iconic part of the fishing industry over the past decade.  The ultra-popular Power Pole shallow water anchor has changed the world of competitive fishing by offering a technologically advanced boat-control system, giving anglers the ability to stop their boats quickly and quietly with the touch of a button.

As part of the agreement, Power Pole will also offer $400 Captains Cash contingency money at all IFA Redfish Tour and Pro-Am events.  Anglers must simply register with the program and win an IFA tournament using their Power Pole shallow water anchor.

“The Inshore Fishing Association is a natural partnership for us and we’re excited to offer our Captains Cash contingency program for 2013,” said Power Pole Vice President Robert Shamblin. “So much of our growth and success is due to inshore anglers across the country.  The IFA provides us a great opportunity to show our support and an ideal platform to showcase our shallow water anchor systems.”

Drawing inshore anglers from Texas to the Carolinas and beyond, the IFA Redfish Tour is the largest and oldest redfish tour in the nation. Offering anglers the opportunity to compete in low-entry fee events, redfish anglers can fish close to home, minimize expenses and compete for lucrative winnings and contingency prizes.  The Lucas Oil IFA Pro-Am Redfish Challenge series, set to begin in March 2013, is being billed as the ultimate redfish showdown, featuring the sport’s best anglers in a high stakes, made-for-TV competition.

The IFA Kayak Fishing Tour presented by Hobie Fishing is the fastest-growing kayak fishing tournament trail in the county. Kayak anglers competing in the catch-photograph-release tournaments can take advantage of the numerous money and product prizes awarded to competitors.
