MGM Sponsored Shooter Wins $50k

MGM Targets sponsored shooter Keith Garcia, a law enforcement officer from California defeated several rounds of opponents including SureFire’s Barry Dueck in a finals showdown to claim the 2012-2013 3-Gun Nation Championship in Las Vegas last week. Keith took home the $50,000 top prize.

Garcia has been part of the MGM Targets team since 2010 and is one of the most successful 3GN Shoot-Off competitors to date, in this his third 3GN Shoot-Off. 2013 was Garcia’s first foray in 3-gun’s biggest day after winning in 2010 and 2011 in other 3GN Shoot-Off match venues.

Greg Jordan made it to the semi-finals, failing to advance to set up the match-up with Garcia. Other MGM shooters in the 28-man bracket included Travis Gibson, Patrick Kelley, who faced each other in the match, along with Greg Jordan, Mark Hanish, Matt Burkett, and Clint Upchurch who all competed in cold, windy conditions at Clark County Gun Club during the 2013 SHOT show.

The elite invitational match pulls the top 30 professional 3 Gun Nation shooters from the 75 pro competitors which also includes over 400 3 Gun Nation shooters of various, age and both ladies and men’s classes.

MGM Targets is also proud to be the official target supplier of 3GN
