A-H Board Meets in Salem, Oregon Jan. 31-Feb. 1

The Thursday meeting will be a field tour of Willamette Valley properties involved in a goose hunting program. This tour leaves at noon from the DoubleTree Hotel at 1590 Weston Court NE, Salem. Members of the public can attend the tour but are responsible for their own transportation. Be at the hotel by noon to accompany the Board.
The Friday meeting begins at 8 a.m. in the Commission room at ODFW HQ, 3406 Cherry Ave NE, Salem. The meeting agenda includes a review of the big game tag auction process, Southwest Regional Board council appointments, and a review of several projects in the Northeast Region. The A&H Program funds projects that provide hunter access and/or improve wildlife habitat on private land in Oregon. The A&H Program is funded primarily by a $4 surcharge on hunting licenses and big game auction and raffle tag sales.
