Team Hoyt’s 2013 Victory train keeps on rolling, this time with a near total podium sweep of the prestigious Lancaster Archery Classic in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country. Team Hoyt again swept every major title in this increasingly prominent event, which was available to view live over the internet thanks to Hoyt-sponsored live streaming services. Thousands of archery fans watched as Jesse Broadwater took on Nimes European Champion, Hoyt teammate, and multiple World Champion, Reo Wilde for the gold medal in the men’s unlimited premiere class. When the dust settled, it was Jesse who prevailed in a devastating show of precision with his Hoyt Pro Comp Elite- already the most-winning bow of 2013.
Not to be outdone on the women’s side, Samantha Neal wielded her Pro Comp Elite to victory over fellow Team Hoyt standout and two time World Cup champion Jamie Van Natta in the women’s premiere Unlimited class.
Team Hoyt star Rodger Willett Jr. took the Master Men’s category, again with Pro Comp Elite XL and fellow Hoyt pro staffer, Joe Kapp finished in third.
Viewers were also treated to the spectacle of American Olympic Teammates Jake Kaminski and Brady Ellison shooting it out for the Gold Medal title with their 2013 Hoyt ION-X F7 Formula recurves. In the end Jake prevailed over Brady to take the title. Hoyt pro staffer Joe McGlyn rounded out the Hoyt podium sweep with a third place finish.
