Gander Mountain Stores to Host “Puck for a Buck” Fundraiser Benefiting Defending the Blue Line

Defending the Blue Line (DTBL) is proud to announce that Gander Mountain stores in Minnesota, North Dakota, and New York will host a “Puck for a Buck” fundraising campaign benefiting Defending the Blue Line. Gander Mountain customers can join Minnesota Wild players Zach Parise, Cal Clutterbuck, Clayton Stoner, and Matt Kassian in supporting DTBL from February 1, 2013, to March 30, 2013.
To participate, Gander Mountain customers simply visit a participating Gander Mountain store and purchase a paper puck at the registers. All proceeds raised will go directly to Defending the Blue Line. The pucks can be personalized and hung on the wall at the store. Defending The Blue Line is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by a group of National Guard soldiers in Minnesota. The charity assists families of all branches of the military with costs associated with hockey. They provide financial assistance for registration fees, free equipment, summer hockey camps, and send many deserving families down to NHL venues across the country for a night of fun at NHL games.
