Video: How a Ski Jump Looks from a Rear-facing Camera

In the video below, Norwegian skier Anders Jacobsen gives us a rare glimpse of how a ski jump looks from a new perspective. Jacobsen has competed professionally since 2003 and is the youngest Norwegian to win the Four Hills Tournament.

As an extra double feature, here are skiers Matthias Giraud and Stefan Laude out-skiing an avalanche by jumping off a cliff and then parachuting down the length of the mountain. This once-in-a-lifetime event took place on Aiguille Croche, a mountain in Megeve, France that peaks at 8,159 feet. Please do not try this in the outdoors.
