Montana Mountain Lion Season to Close in Region 7

he hunting season for mountain lions in hunting districts 700, 701, 702, 703, 704 and 705 (all of Region 7 in southeastern Montana) will close at one half hour after sunset on the evening of Wednesday, February 13, 2013. The pre-established harvest quota of 30 lions has been met.

The district includes portions of Bighorn, Carter, Custer, Dawson, Fallon, Garfield, McCone, Powder River, Prairie, Richland, Rosebud, Treasure and Wibaux counties.
