POMA Business Conference Kicks Off March 6, 2013

The Professional Outdoor Media Association’s (POMA) Annual Business Conference kicks off March 6, 2013, in Columbia, S.C. Veteran outdoor industry journalists and corporate professionals agree it’s the must-attend event of the year.

“If you miss this event, you’re doing yourself and your business a disservice,” stated renowned outdoor journalist and book author John E. Phillips. “POMA’s conferences are must-attend events for communicators and company PR and communications representatives. Even after 40-plus years in the business, I learn new practices and make money at the conference.”

This year POMA offers more than 30 hard-hitting, business-building sessions focused on everything from e-book development, to social media marketing, website management, public relations, content development and strategies, photography, broadcasting, email practices, writing for television and new media, and more.

Three product-testing venues also allow company executives and media professionals to come together, network, build relationships, share ideas, and generate editorial content. More than $2 million in ad equivalent editorial content is generated during the event along with thousands of social media posts.

“POMA Conference has become one of the key events in our yearly marketing plan,” added Camp Chef Marketing Director Steve McGrath. “It’s an opportunity to not only get to know new people but to reacquaint with old friends. The conference delivers substantial value.”

Annually more than 200 industry professionals attend the event. Just a few openings for media and company attendees remain, and registration closes Feb. 22, 2013. Register now and review complete details online (http://tinyurl.com/crws59z). Visit POMA’s website: www.professionaloutdoormedia.org
