Illinois House Committee Announces Hearing Dates

The Illinois House Judiciary Committee announced it will hold hearings on Feb. 19 and 22 to discuss comprehensive gun control legislation. NSSF encourages Illinois residents to attend these hearings and urge legislators to oppose anti-gun legislation that does nothing more than penalize law-abiding retailers and gun owners. The locations for both House Judiciary Committee hearings are listed below:

• Tuesday, Feb. 19 at NOON, Room 114, Capitol Building in Springfield
• Friday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m., Room N-600, Bilandic Building in Chicago

National Shooting Sports Foundation

The National Shooting Sports Foundation is the trade association for the firearms industry. Its mission is to promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports. Formed in 1961, NSSF has a membership of more than 7,000 manufacturers, distributors, firearms retailers, shooting ranges, sportsmen's organizations and publishers.
