Yamaha Marine Expands Collegiate Opportunities

Yamaha Marine and the Association of Collegiate Anglers have renewed their partnership for the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series, presented by BoatUS.
Collegiate anglers will enjoy increased support through the ACA Discounts and Incentives Program, including bonuses in all three Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series events. Yamaha Marine will also provide onsite support at the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship, and sponsor Yamaha Angler Appreciation Night.
“The Association of Collegiate Anglers has done a great job organizing and promoting these events,” said Frank Wilhelm, Yamaha Marine Group Advertising Manager. “We are pleased to be supporting the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series again this year.”
Collegiate anglers can look forward to enhanced payouts at each event of the season, with Yamaha awarding up to $1,000 for a victory if the boat used in competition is powered by a Yamaha motor and the anglers display the Yamaha logo on their jerseys. In the event the winners aren’t participating in the program, the highest finishers to display the Yamaha logo on their jerseys are still eligible for a $500 bonus per event, regardless of motor brand. Collegiate anglers competing in the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship, will also get to enjoy Yamaha Angler Appreciation night.

Yamaha will provide demo rides during the event, which is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21st in Florence, Alabama. Activities will take place at McFarland Park, from 4 to 8 pm.
