CastAwayʼs Team of Sponsored Anglers Includes Top B.A.S.S Elite Series and FLW Tour Performers
You can tell a lot about a rod company by the fishing pros who go into battle armed with their equipment. The list of pros who choose to fish professionally with CastAway Graphite Rods is a prestigious and growing one, with seven top B.A.S.S. Elite and FLW Series sponsored by the Montgomery, Texas-based rod builder.
Four top performers on the B.A.S.S. Elite Series tour have signed on with CastAway for 2013, including South Carolinian Marty Robinson; Todd Faircloth of Jasper, Texas; Russ Lane of Pratville, Alabama and Bill Lowen of New Bend, Ohio. Each of these top competitors has earned a spot in this Februaryʼs 2013 Bassmaster Classic, the “Superbowl” of bass fishing that attracts anglers, fans and media from around the world. Each of these anglers hails from a different part of the country and specializes in a particular style of angling, but they have a couple of things in common. First, they are proven winners at the top of their game (Faircloth, for example, has won more than $1.5 million in B.A.S.S earnings). Second, they count on the strength, sensitivity and custom-designed actions of CastAway Graphite Rods to help them catch fish and compete against the best professional anglers in the world.
In addition to these four B.A.S.S. Elite competitors, CastAway Graphite Rods also sponsors three top competitors on the 2013 Wal-Mart FLW Tour. Cody Bird of Granbury, Texas; Charlie Ingram of Santa Fe, Tennessee and Jonathan Newton of Rogersville, Alabama will be fishing with and promoting CastAway Graphite Rods as they compete in high-profile bass tournaments around the country. Each of these sponsored anglers will take to the water with a full quiver of premium quality CastAway Graphite Rods, every one designed and built to excel at a specialized angling technique. In addition to competing on the Wal-Mart FLW Tour, Ingram also stars on the Outdoor Channelʼs Fishing University Television Show, where he and co-host Ray Brazier fish exclusively with CastAway Graphite Rods as they take viewers on an educational fishing adventure each week.
“We are pleased to be working with each and every one of these top professional fishermen. These are tough competitors who fish to win every time they take to the water. They demand the best from themselves and their equipment, and CastAway Graphite Rods are always equal to the challenge,” said CastAwayʼs Adam Murray. “At the same time, these gentlemen are fan favorites who love to share their knowledge and expertise with everyday fishermen. This makes them great ambassadors for fishing and excellent representatives for CastAway Graphite Rods. Their input is the most valuable thing we can acquire, though,” added Murray. “Designing rods that these guys use to make a living should give our customers the confidence they need when deciding what rod to purchase.”
CastAway Graphite Rods has been in business since 1986, using its two-plus decades of experience to develop lightweight graphite rods with superior strength, sensitivity and durability.
