Edmonton Outdoor Show Reelin’ in the Deals in Alberta

The 2013 Edmonton Boat and Sportsmen’s Show is Western Canada’s Biggest Outdoor Show and it will take place at the Expo Centre, Northlands from March 14-17, 2013. The doors are set to open on Thursday, March 14th at 12:00 noon and will remain open until 5:00 pm on Sunday, March 17th. The Show will feature hundreds of exhibitors and retailers, all related to the outdoors. Over $20 million in boats, marine products and accessories will be on display.

If you love the outdoors and all the gear that goes along with it, this year’s Edmonton Boat and Sportsmen’s Show is right up your alley. The Fishin’ Hole’s 35 Hour Fish-Tacular will offer some of the best prices of the season on all your fishing, hunting and outdoor gear needs and wants. For a $2.00 donation, with all proceeds going to the Alberta Fish and Game Association, kids can try their hand at catching live trout. For children between the ages of 6 and 12, the Honda Junior Red Rider Club is definitely a highlight. Sign your kids up and give them the chance to receive instruction on off-road riding, gear up in the most current safety gear and then take to the track to practice what they have learned, all under the watchful eye of trained professionals.

There is a growing trend in outdoor adventure travel and tourism.
