Mule Deer Foundation names Buck Knives as Corporate Sponsor of the Year

The Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) recently announced Buck Knives as Corporate Sponsor of the Year for 2012.
MDF President and CEO Miles Moretti presented the award to CJ Buck of Buck Knives during the Western Hunting and Conservation Expo (WHCE) in late February.
Moretti said, “In the last three years Buck Knives has stepped up. They’ve been our knife of the year, and they have been a great partner to MDF. I also love the fact that Buck is a USA-made product.”
With a warm hug and a handshake, CJ Buck accepted the beautiful bronze award from Moretti. He then addressed the WHCE Friday night crowd of over 1,000, saying, “I look around and see so many doing so much for the Mule Deer Foundation. I’m really not sure what put Buck at the top of the list, but I am honored and privileged to be associated and working with such an extraordinary organization. Mule deer are an icon of the living and hunting West, and they need our help.”
The Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) and its corps of volunteers work hard to ensure the conservation of mule deer and black-tailed deer and their habitat. MDF is a non-profit 501(c) 3 wildlife conservation organization headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Formed in July 1988, MDF now has over 14,000 members and almost 100 chapters nationwide who support its grassroots efforts. Through chapter fundraising events, MDF volunteers raise thousands of dollars to help fund habitat and conservation projects throughout the West.
