“Just for Kids Fishing Festival” is March 16 in Tempe, Arizona

The future of Arizona family angling will be on display at the 22nd annual “Just for Kids Fishing Festival” from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 16 at Tempe Kiwanis Park.

The event typically draws more than 400 youth anglers. Anglers United, in partnership with the Arizona Game and Fish Department, will conduct this free event that features fishing from 7 a.m. to noon.

Kids can register the day of the event and will receive a goodie bag and complimentary lunch from Outback Steakhouse.

Anglers United, incorporated in 1982, has raised more than $1 million to benefit fishing habitat and recreational access, particularly for children and physically-challenged individuals.
