Arctic Ice LLC, a leading manufacturer of long-term, reusable refrigeration products, joins the Cabela’s National Walleye Tour as an official sponsor for the 2013 season. With a product line designed specifically for anglers and outdoorsmen, Arctic Ice is yet another strong addition to the list of sponsors committed to the all-new professional walleye circuit.
“We’re just weeks away from the season opener at Red Wing and the excitement level is unbelievable,” said NWT Tournament Director Anthony Wright. “Having Arctic Ice on board is icing on the cake. They build a phenomenal product that’s really going to be a hit with NWT anglers. We’re proud to have their support.”
Headquartered in Brookings, S. D., Arctic Ice offers a technologically advanced solution for keeping things cold while on the go. Utilizing innovations in phase change materials, Arctic Ice offers products with two distinct freezing points in a multitude of sizes to fit the needs of families everywhere. The environmentally friendly, re-usable cold packs are available in an Alaskan Series model, designed to provide prolonged refrigeration without freezing, as well as a Tundra Series model, designed to provide extended freezing temperatures for frozen goods.
“We’re excited to join the new Cabela’s National Walleye Tour,” said Arctic Ice President Jennifer Bender. “Our products are built specifically for anglers and outdoorsmen, so this is a perfect opportunity to reach out and show our support. We can’t wait to kick off the season and look forward to a great year with the NWT.”
The all-new National Walleye Tour begins April 26, 2013, and includes a total of three qualifying events, plus a year-end championship. The NWT website is currently accepting registrations for all events online. The website offers numerous details on the circuit; including official rules, tournament structure, payout and incentives.
Each NWT event features over 100% payback. A fully rigged Ranger Boat, plus cash, is guaranteed for first place at each event – a total value of $57,000. Anglers that fish all three regular season events, in addition to the top points leaders, will gain entry to the three-day, entry-fee Championship.
The new circuit also includes unprecedented television and media coverage, allowing a national audience to watch the action unfold from each event throughout the season. Airing on multiple networks, the National Walleye Tour will be seen on The Texas Channel, World Fishing Network, Pursuit Channel, as well as the new NBC Sports Network.
