Turkey Hunting Seminars in Colorado Springs, Pueblo & Salida

Colorado Parks and Wildlife will host free turkey hunting seminars in Colorado Springs, Pueblo and Salida. The seminars cover the fundamentals of turkey behavior, where to look for turkeys, hunting tactics and techniques. The seminars provide a wealth of knowledge about hunting America’s largest game bird.

The class time, dates and locations are as follows:
*    6 – 9 p.m., March 29 at Lake Pueblo State Park Auditorium, 640 Pueblo Reservoir Road. Space is limited to the first 50 who sign-up, so please call 719-561-5300 to reserve a spot.
*    9 a.m. – noon, March 30, Chaffee County Fairgrounds, 10165 County Road 120, Salida. Call 719-530-5520 for more information.
*    9 a.m. – 3 p.m., April 6, Colorado Parks and Wildlife Office, 4255 Sinton Road, Colorado Springs. Call 719-227-5200 for more information.

“The classes are geared toward new hunters,” said Steve Lucero, an education specialist for CPW, “but you might pick up some new tips and tricks even if you are an old pro.”
