California Firearm Industry Association Adds Experienced Legislative Advocate

Longtime Professional Craig DeLuz to represent both industry and consumer interests in the California State Capitol

Recognizing the unprecedented assault on the civil rights of Californians, firearm and economic rights group California Association of Federal Firearms Licensees (CAL-FFL) has added high-powered issue advocate and experienced activist Craig Deluz to its arsenal.

Craig DeLuz has joined the CAL-FFL team as their Legislative Advocate to represent industry and consumer interests in the California State Capitol. Previously, DeLuz worked as Legislative Director for former Assemblyman Tim Leslie and most recently as the Deputy Chief of Staff for former Assemblyman Kevin Jeffries. “I’m excited to be fighting for a cause that I am very passionate about,” said DeLuz. “It’s not everyday that you get a chance to advance economic liberties and fundamental rights like gun ownership at the same time.”

“We at CAL-FFL are very excited to have Craig on board,” said CAL-FFL president Brandon Combs. “I’m confident that his years of experience as a senior legislative staffer will prove invaluable to our efforts to defend the rights of all Californians.”

California Association of Federal Firearms Licensees (http://www.calffl.org/join) is California’s premier non-profit industry association of, by, and for firearms manufacturers, dealers, collectors, training professionals, shooting ranges, and others, advancing the interests of its members and the general public through strategic litigation, legislative efforts, and education.
