FIRSTSTRING the manufacturer of world-class bowstrings and accessories for archery enthusiasts is pleased to congratulate Reo Wilde for his win at the 2013 Vegas Shoot in the Championship Compound Male division.

The 2013 Vegas Shoot is the first leg of a 3 Star Tour.  The tournament took place February 8-10, 2013 at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV with more than 1800 archers from 37 different countries competing in the event.  The unique, three-day format allows archers to score 30 arrows per day from 20 yards and offers the largest winnings for an indoor archery competition.  The Championship Compound Male division has hundreds of shooters, out of which only eleven archers shot a perfect 900 score.  These eleven archers entered into a shoot-off and Reo ended up victorious.

Scott Parrish, President of FIRSTSTRING  states: “I want to recognize Reo Wilde for his accomplishments in the archery industry.  Reo has a lot of heart and dedication for this sport, which is why FIRSTSTRING is proud to sponsor him.  After an impressive 2012 season for Reo, it is very exciting for FIRSTSTRING  to be a part of the journey this top archer is taking.  We look forward to the partnership and we are excited to see what else 2013 brings him.”

Reo Wilde has been competing in archery tournaments for the past 16 years, the first six were with a recurve bow and the last 10 have been with his compound bow.  Wilde’s lifelong dream is to focus all of his time and energy into shooting.  It is his pledge to be the best archer he can be while representing the industry and the United States around the world.

Wilde comments on his win, “This is the largest win I’ve ever had.  I’m now on a list with four to five other guys that have won The Vegas Shoot tournament, multiple times” he adds, “without FIRSTSTRING products, I wouldn’t have been able to focus on everything else. FIRSTSTRING has the best bowstrings on the market.  I look forward to winning more tournaments using FIRSTSTRING products.”
