Record payouts, exceptional fishing expected for second TXTT event of 2013
The Texas Team Trail presented by Cabela’s will host its second event of the 2013 tournament season on April 6 at Lake Ray Roberts. Located just north of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, Lake Ray Roberts is one of Texas’ premier tournament venues.
Registration for the event is already underway – anglers can secure an opportunity to pre-fish Friday, April 5, by completing their registration online or via phone prior to midnight on Thursday, April 4. All anglers that pre-register will also be entered into a drawing for a free Minn Kota Talon shallow water anchor.
Designed exclusively for team competition, the event offers anglers an unprecedented opportunity in terms of payout, sponsor bonuses and television coverage.
The Lake Ray Roberts event is the second of four 2013 qualifying events. The first-place prize for this event will be a fully-rigged Stratos 189VLO with an Evinrude 150 HO package, valued at $25,000. This, plus a budget-friendly, $250 entry fee, plus multiple contingency bonus programs and over 100% payback leads to a buzz among Texas’ anglers. Sights are set on the new Texas Team Trail event on Lake Ray Roberts, as well as the championship tournament in October on Falcon Lake.
On-site registration is set for Friday, April 5, from 5-7 p.m. at Elk’s Lodge (1601 Marina Circle, Sanger, TX 76266). We ask that one team member attend. The tournament will launch Saturday, April 6, at safe light from Lake Ray Roberts Marina and weigh-in will begin at the same location at 3 p.m.
Anglers with questions or anyone interested in more details on the event are encouraged to visit www.texasteamtrail.com or call 210-788-4143.
