Video: Elk Bull Runs Past Hunters in Chase for Female

A close brush with wildlife is always a thrill–not to mention making a great advertisement for camo–and these two bowhunters came within a hair’s breadth of getting run over by a young bull. Most of the time mature elk stay in same sex groups, with the rut being the major exception. It is common for bulls to lose about 20 percent of their body weight during that time, and apparently mistake a pair of sportsmen for some oddly-shaped shrubbery.
