Video: Hawk Intrudes on Bald Eagle Nest, Gets Clobbered

While we’re not sure if “clobbered” is an adequate term here, there’s no question this hawk picked the wrong bird-of-prey/national symbol to mess with. Early in the video you can see the hawk honing in on the nest hoping to make off with one of the eggs. It’s too bad daddy was home.

A later video shows that at least two of the eggs in the nest hatched successfully. As for the hawk…it didn’t do so well.
