Kalkomey Enterprises, Inc., an official provider of print and online hunter safety courses, is a sponsor of the 69th Annual Northeast Fish and Wildlife conference, held April 7-9, 2013, in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
“We want to support the professionals who attend this conference because we recognize their work is critical to the future of wildlife conservation,” said Kurt Kalkomey, president of Kalkomey Enterprises, Inc. “We share a common goal with the Northeast Association of Fish and Wildlife Agency members, and that is to make sure people continue to have opportunities to safely enjoy outdoor traditions such as hunting, fishing and wildlife watching.”
At the conference, the Kalkomey team will showcase the latest improvements to the state-approved training at hunter-ed.com. The course features new hunter safety videos that are fun to watch and provide need-to-know information. Plus, students who must complete a hunter safety course to get their hunting license now can take the entire course on their smartphone, tablet, e-reader or laptop. The pages automatically resize to fit whatever device is being used, no app required. For more information, visit http://www.hunter-ed.com/.
Kalkomey will provide other updates at the conference including introducing their new ATV safety video series and e-books on handgun safety, boating safety, and wildlife identification. In addition, Kalkomey will present its new e-regulations concept. By providing hunting and fishing regulations in an e-book format, users can easily search and navigate the entire document. Plus, they’ll have easy access to the regulations on any mobile device or computer.
