Kalkomey Enterprises, Inc., an official provider of print and online hunter safety courses, is a bronze level sponsor of the International Hunter Education Association – United States of America Conference, held April 2-6, 2013, in San Antonio, Texas.
“IHEA-USA’s partnership with Kalkomey is invaluable. They provide quality learning tools to students, teaching tools to hunter education instructors, and management tools to agencies,” said Steve Hall, executive director of IHEA-USA. “Their contribution to the conference helps all of us meet and share ideas to further our goals for hunter education.”
At the conference, the Kalkomey team will showcase the latest improvements to the state-approved training at hunter-ed.com. The new mobile friendly design allows students to complete the classroom portion of their hunter safety course on their smartphone, tablet, e-reader or laptop. The pages automatically adjust to fit the device being used, no app required. The course also features new hunter safety videos that are fun to watch and provide need-to-know information. Online hunter safety courses are available in participating states. To see if your state has an approved course, visit http://www.hunter-ed.com/.
In addition to the course updates, Kalkomey will update conference attendees on their new e-regulations concept. E-regulations will allow future hunters to access hunting regulations conveniently on their smartphone, tablet or other e-reader. Users can easily search and navigate throughout the entire document, and they can link directly from the e-book to their state website to purchase licenses.
IHEA-USA works to continue the heritage of hunting worldwide by developing safe, responsible, knowledgeable and involved hunters. The IHEA-USA Annual Conference includes board meetings, committee meetings, and training workshops and presentations conducted by experts. Sessions focus on issues that face hunter education administrators and volunteer instructors. Hunter education administrators, coordinators, volunteer instructors and other experts from all over the United States will be attending the conference.
