Lowrance Renews Partnership with Texas Team Trail Presented by Cabela’s

Next event set for Belton Lake on May 4

Lowrance, a world leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of high-quality sonar and GPS mapping instruments, continues as an official sponsor of the Texas Team Trail presented by Cabela’s in 2013. Following an ultra successful inaugural season, the Texas Team Trail and Lowrance now set their sights on the third event of the season at Belton Lake on May 4.

“Lowrance is a great partner for the Texas Team Trail,” said Mike Hastings, tournament director. “They continue to show incredible innovation when it comes to sonar and GPS mapping gear, which is vital to a fisherman’s success on the water. We’re fortunate to have their support.”

Widely recognized for introducing the first recreational sonar in 1957, today Lowrance is renowned for its award-winning High Definition Systems (HDS) and add-on performance modules that allow anglers to find, navigate and dominate — making the most of their time on the water. Innovative Lowrance technology offerings include: StructureScan HD with SideScan and DownScan Imaging; award-winning Broadband Sounder; the most mapping options available, including Insight Genesis; and Broadband Radar, to name a few. All products are backed by unsurpassed technical support and the industry-leading Lowrance Advantage Service program.

“We’re proud of our partnership with the Texas Team Trail,” said Louis Chemi, COO, Navico Americas. “Our innovative technology is critical for success in tournaments, and this is a perfect opportunity to show our support. We look forward to another great year with the Texas Team Trail.”

The tournament circuit, designed exclusively for team competition, is currently underway. The schedule includes four qualifying events, plus a year-end championship, taking place on legendary Falcon Lake, October 12-13. Registration for the Belton Lake event is already underway. Anglers can secure an opportunity to pre-fish Friday, May 3, by completing their registration online or via phone prior to midnight on Thursday, May 2.
