Bushmaster Firearms International (“BFI”) is pleased to announce the formation of its 2013 3-Gun sponsored shooting team. The 2013 roster will include three new professional shooters – Aaron Reed, Ravin Perry and Rob Tate.
“Team Bushmaster is blessed with a wonderful group of shooters who believe in their role as ambassadors for competitive shooting sports, Bushmaster Firearms and the overall firearms industry,” said Shane Naylor, Shooting Sports Manager, Bushmaster Firearms. “We welcome Aaron, Ravin and Rob to the team, and we’re looking forward to an exciting season.”
With Reed, Perry and Tate, Bushmaster’s team has a tremendous amount of competitive and major match experience.
Tate came to action shooting sports in 2009. While he has enjoyed shooting IDPA and USPSA over the last four years, he has shifted his focus to 3–Gun for 2013 and will be participating in the 3 Gun Nation Pro Series. Tate is a Navy veteran.
Ravin first started shooting when he was in the Boy Scouts. Since 2009, Ravin has achieved classifications as a Grand Master in the open division of the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) and a Master in both Enhanced Service Pistol (ESP) and Stock Service Pistol (SSP) in the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA).
In 1999, Reed answered the call of duty and joined the US Navy and became a SEAL. The Navy provided him the opportunity to hone his marksmanship skills as a lead sniper. During his 13 years of active duty, he completed four deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
