Firearms Trade Association Sponsors New England Regional IDPA Championship in Massachusetts

The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry, is continuing its support for the shooting sports and returning as one of the primary sponsors of the 2013 Smith & Wesson New England Regional IDPA Championship.
The Smith & Wesson New England Regional IDPA Championship will take place August 16-18 at the Harvard Sportsmen’s Club in Harvard, Massachusetts and will again be hosted by the MetroWest Tactical IDPA club. The event is among the region’s largest defensive pistol shooting competitions.
“We are extremely grateful for the generous support NSSF has provided this year’s Smith & Wesson New England Regional IDPA Championship. As the trade association for the industry they have led the way in expanding competitive shooting opportunities to the delight and benefit of IDPA members throughout New England,” said Dori Smith of the MetroWest Tactical IDPA club.

The 2013 Smith & Wesson New England Regional IDPA Championship is expected to draw upwards of 160 of the region’s top shooters. Registration for the event is not yet open but match officials expect to make that announcement shortly.
