PRADCO Outdoor Brands’ Momentum Continues with Hiring of Another Key Executive

PRADCO Outdoor Brands (POB) is generating more buzz in the outdoor industry with the hiring of its third key executive in less than six months.  The Birmingham, Ala., based company announced that Jeff Kisling was named Vice President of Supply Chain for PRADCO Outdoor Brands effective April 22, 2013. For the last 10 years, Kisling served as Vice President, North American Logistics & Services, for Pure Fishing, Inc.

“Jeff’s experience with world-wide customer supply chains in the outdoor industry is vital to the growth of all of PRADCO’s hunting and fishing brands,” said Ron Ten Berge, POB President and General Manager. “He brings innovative solutions and a proven track record of success to customer-focused supply chain disciplines, and that’s essential to our future success.”

Kisling is responsible for providing leadership and management oversight across PRADCO Outdoor Brands’ (POB) order cycle and supply chain, including inventory management, logistics, customer service, purchasing and warehousing. The position ensures that POB delivers sustainable and scalable “best-in-class” performance across all brands. The position is a member of the POB senior management team.

Kisling brings more than 20 years of global logistics and supply chain experience to his new position, as well as substantial customer service experience. Kisling served for 10 years as Director of Logistics and Services for American Tool Companies, a $450 million hand tools and accessory business, where he integrated and managed the order cycle/supply chain from seven U.S. manufacturing locations and a warehouse directly to a customer base in the U.S. and indirectly through global distribution and warehousing centers located in the Mid-East, Europe, Asia, Latin America and Australia.

Most recently, Kisling served as Vice President, North American Logistics and Services, for Pure Fishing, Inc. During his tenure there he led the consolidation of three company’s customer supply chain functions and implemented a greater focus on the Customer Supply Chain and service to the customer.

Kisling will report to Ten Berge and is based in the EBSCO Industries Headquarters in Birmingham, Ala., but will work closely with all of PRADCO’s fishing and hunting offices.

“I’ve worked for some of the leading brands in the outdoor industry,” Kisling said, “but joining PRADCO Outdoor brands and its parent company, EBSCO, is an exciting move. I’m looking forward to working with some of the most legendary brands in fishing and hunting.”
