Leupold & Stevens, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Tiffany Piper to the company’s stable of competitive shooters.
A regular atop the Bianchi Cup junior division, the 19-year-old New Zealand native is looking to pick up her first women’s title at the famed match this year. En route to her third junior title, Piper also finished third in the chase for the overall women’s title in 2012.
Beginning with air pistol as a 10-year-old, Piper moved up to a .22 rimfire by age 11 and .38 Super by age 12. Piper competed in her first Bianchi Cup when she was just 13. An accomplished action pistol shooter, Piper won four consecutive New Zealand national titles, four consecutive national junior titles and was part of the 2008 World Cup champion ladies team.
“It’s great to be a part of the Leupold family of shooters,” Piper said. “I’m looking forward to this year’s Bianchi Cup and shooting against the world’s best action pistol shooters.”
She also competed in the modern pentathlon, which combines pistol shooting, fencing, swimming, equestrian show jumping and cross-country running.
“Tiffany is one of action pistol’s up-and-coming stars, and we’re happy to welcome her to the Leupold team,” said Mike Slack, Leupold & Steven’s senior manager of advertising and communications. “IPSC and Bianchi are popular around the world, and Tiffany exemplifies the best of competitive shooting’s next generation.”
