Steiner, a world-leader in the manufacturing of sporting optics, announced the appointment of Tom Frane as Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development for North America. Frane will be responsible for developing comprehensive strategic plans, sales and account management programs across key market segments including marine, hunting, outdoor, and military/law enforcement. He will report directly to Dale Pratt, general manager of Burris Company.
Key responsibilities include analyzing sales and marketing data, forecasting, competitive positioning, promotions, training, and serving as the principal liaison between Steiner Germany and all U.S. customers.
Frane brings more than 19 years of experience in the shooting and hunting industry. Most recently, he was National Sales Manager for Crimson Trace in Wilsonville, OR. Prior to that, he was a Principal for Fall Sports at Maschmedt & Associates in Seattle; Divisional Sales Manager for Beretta USA and National Account Manager for Blount Sporting Equipment Group.

Frane is a graduate from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minn. He and his family will relocate from Portland, OR to Greeley, Colo.
