Missouri Wildflower Hike Planned at Prairie State Park May 4

On May 4, visitors to Prairie State Park can join a park naturalist for a walk among green grasses and colorful flowers to learn more about the amazing prairie ecosystem. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the walk will begin at 10 a.m.

Prairie State Park is located at 128 NW 150th Lane in Mindenmines. Participants can meet at Prairie State Park’s Nature Center and are encouraged to wear long pants and sturdy shoes. The hike will last about two hours and cover 1.6 miles.
