Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, announced the launch of Sportsman HD on Comcast in Utah, part of the Comcast West Division. Sportsman HD is now available on channel 758. Today’s news comes on the heels of several other Sportsman HD rollouts in the West Division including Oregon and Washington.
Sportsman Channel’s programming offerings include many of the industry’s leading series as well as ground-breaking lifestyle and adventure shows, like MeatEater and Dropped, as well as the first-ever news-talk TV series for the outdoors genre called NRANEWS Cam & Co. The programming matches the network’s drive to present more of the lifestyle of people who love – and live – to hunt, shoot and fish, including stories about travel, adventure, survival, cooking and eating, work, family, collecting and more.
“We are focused on providing value to our customers through expanding HD programming choices,” said Lars Lofas, Vice President of Product Management, Comcast West Division. “The addition of Sportsman HD throughout Utah allows us to expand our high-definition offering and deliver ‘outdoor TV’.”
“There is no better way to experience the great outdoors and the sportsman lifestyle than in stunning HD—and we are proud to bring Sportsman HD to Utah where the outdoors and sportsmen activities are a way of life,” said Sportsman Channel CEO Gavin Harvey. “Comcast is a valued partner and we look forward to the ongoing expansion of Sportsman HD as we strive to reach even more of today’s 80 million American sportsmen and women nationwide.”
