Furthering its support for organizations that help protect and conserve the accessibility of backcountry and mountaineering adventures, Brooks-Range Mountaineering EquipmentCo. signs on as a partner-level member with the American Alpine Club.
“We are thrilled to have Brooks-Range Mountaineering join the AAC Corporate Partner program,” said Phil Powers, executive director of the AAC. “The company’s leadership in innovative product development as well as its support of the climbing community promotes the values we all embrace as outdoor enthusiasts.”
Matt Brooks, founder of Brooks-Range, is an AMGA certified mountain guide, and an AAC lifetime member. Through his experiences in the mountains, Brooks believes it takes advocacy to conserve and preserve the accessibility of the places in which mountaineers and backcountry enthusiasts recreate and adventure.
Matt Brooks instills this same ethos into Brooks-Range Mountaineering and joins other dynamic outdoor brands to support invaluable organizations such as the AAC.
“We are proud to support and partner with such an important organization for the mountain community. As a life member of AAC, I am excited to increase my involvement, and use the Brooks-Range brand to raise the profile of the AAC’s mission,” said Brooks.
