Video: Rare Bird’s-eye View of Falcon Diving on Duck

Weighing an average of two to three pounds, Peregrine Falcons are top predators in their weight class. These birds of prey wield razor-sharp claws and an equally dangerous beak, which coupled with a top diving speed of over 200 mph can create one of nature’s most dangerous hunters.

One innovative sportsman decided to strap a small camera to his falcon’s back to record it catching a duck in the air. The hapless waterfowl appears at about a minute into the video.
