Spring Hill, Mount Ida AYSSP Squads Snag Regional Titles in Arkansas

46Under almost ideal shooting conditions, over 210 teams competed in this week’s Arkansas Youth Shooting Sports Program regional tournament. The Springhill Junior Bears won the junior division and the Mount Ida A Team won the senior division. The regional tournament was held May 10-11 at the Remington range near Lonoke.

The final regional tournament will be held this weekend, followed by the state finals May 30-June 1 at Lonoke. The top 16 teams from each region will compete in the state finals. During competition, junior high teams shoot 125 rounds and the senior high teams shoot 250 rounds.
