Who is John Csizmadia?
Credibility, commitment, respect, integrity and positive attitude are the best words to describe John Csizmadia. He is an experienced sales and marketing professional with related skills as an outdoors writer, radio show host, seminar presenter, tournament director, and event organizer. Csizmadia’s involvement in competitive tournament angling has earned him pro staff relationships with some of the most prestigious companies in the fishing and boating industry. He actively supports youth involvement in fishing and outdoors related activities and works closely with sponsors, the media, event organizers, charitable organizations, and others to promote the sport of fishing and youth involvement in the great outdoors.
“In 14 years as a sales marketing professional I have helped hundreds of businesses achieve their sales and marketing goals.” Csizmadia holds a degree in marketing and has a wealth of business experience including print and radio advertising. “I’m passionate about the outdoors, the industry, and the needs of businesses related to the outdoors market. I’m looking forward to applying my skills and experience to help current and future Self Reliance Illustrated advertisers reach more customers with cost effective advertising that directly reaches their target market.”
When asked about his new role with Self Reliance Illustrated he commented, “I’ve never really considered myself to be a sales person. I view my role as an ally to businesses that need help with finding the channel to reach their desired goals. Every organization has a core function. They manufacture, distribute, sell products, or provide a service. They all have a need to reach consumers, but advertising and marketing is not their area of expertise. This is where the role of being a resource and consultant to these businesses becomes critical. My job is not about selling ads. It’s about earning customers by helping them capture more business.”
