The Texas Team Trail presented by Cabela’s continues to build on an impressive sponsor list with the recent addition of General Tire. Based in Fort Mill, S.C., the company offers a full line of ultra high-performance passenger and light truck tires. The announcement comes as the Texas Team Trail heads toward the final event of the 2013 season at Cedar Creek Lake on June 1.
“This is a partnership we’re really excited about,” said Mike Hastings, tournament director. “General Tire is one of America’s best automotive companies and brings a reputation for building a quality product that our anglers recognize. We’re thrilled to have them on board for 2013.”
General’s Grabber line of light truck tires include Grabber UHP, Grabber HTS, Grabber AT2 and the marquee Red Letter Grabber, providing the comfort, grip and durability necessary for anglers to get from one location to the next. With more than 2.5 million anglers in the state of Texas, the Texas Team Trail Series is an ideal fit for the General Tire brand.
“The Texas Team Trail Series reaches a core demographic for us with regards to the General Tire line of light truck tires,” said Travis Roffler, director of marketing for General Tire. “We’re looking forward to being part of the series and welcome the opportunity to speak to this very loyal audience.”
The tournament circuit, designed exclusively for team competition, includes four qualifying events, plus a year-end championship on legendary Falcon Lake, October 12-13. Registration for the upcoming Cedar Creek event is already underway. Anglers can secure an opportunity to win a free Minn Kota Talon shallow water anchor by registering before Thursday, May 30.
