The 2013 Shooting Industry Masters is just weeks away from launching its biggest-ever event. With 80 team spots selling out earlier than ever before, and a record 53 sponsors, this 11th annual industry-only event in Cody, Wyo., will kick-off in true old-western style with the first rounds going downrange July 19.
“Even Buffalo Bill would be proud of the event we’re wrangling this summer,” said Randy Molde, Masters chairman.
With 16 side matches, an impressive array of raffle prizes, six custom handgun auctions on Gunbroker.com and the newly announced Masters Marketplace, the 2013 Shooting Industry Masters is primed to raise more money for NSSF’s First Shots program than in previous years.
“It will be an unforgettable experience with the goal of setting new high water marks in awareness and fund-raising for the First Shots program,” Molde said. “We’re extremely thankful for the overwhelming team, sponsor and community support we’ve received so far.”
The Shooting Industry Masters, owned and operated by FMG Publications, has raised nearly $150,000 to benefit NSSF’s First Shots program. Through the generosity of participants and sponsors in 10 previous events, FMG received the 2013 Ken Sedlecky Lifetime Achievement Award from the NSSF for continuing to support the growth of the shooting sports.
Although this year’s event is sold out, a limited number of Masters Pardner Passes are still available, granting industry personnel entry into the Cody Shooting Complex and the ability to participate in side matches and evening festivities.
