Safari Club International (SCI) is proud to announce a major contribution to support the Alaska Professional Hunters Association. SCI supports the members of APHA because of their dedication to hunters’ rights in Alaska.
“At SCI, we have always admired the APHA’s efforts to protect hunting throughout their state, particularly for the traveling hunter who takes the trip of a lifetime to Alaska,” said SCI President Craig Kauffman. “The guides and outfitters of Alaska have been incredible supporters of SCI’s advocacy and legal challenges to stop anti-hunting organizations around the country and the world. We hope this donation helps APHA protect hunting in Alaska for the next generation of hunters in their state and for those that will travel there in the future.”
“I have been a life member of SCI for over 30 years,” said AHPA Board of Director Sam Fejes. “I am excited that APHA and SCI are now in an official partnership to support the important guiding industry in Alaska to keep all outdoorsmen and women safe. APHA will use the generous donation from SCI to help lobby for improved wildlife management for game species for the traveling hunter.”
