Leupold Pro Mark Hanish Takes Top Spot at MGM Ironman in Idaho

Team Leupold shooter Mark Hanish proved his mettle by taking the top spot at one of the toughest 3-gun matches in the country with his Scoped Tactical Division title at the MGM Ironman, held the past week at the Parma Rod and Gun Club in Parma, Idaho.   Hanish also finished second in the Heavy Optics Division.

For his optic, Hanish chose the Leupold Mark 8 1.1-8x24mm CQBSS M5B1 Front Focal for its unmatched clarity and wide magnification range, vital at a match like the MGM Ironman where targets can be anywhere from 5-yards to 800 yards away

“Every year, the organizers of the Ironman challenge competitors and their gear harder than at any other match, all while dealing with the ‘Parma Powder,’ the talcum like dust that permeates every piece of equipment that is exposed to it,” said Pat Mundy, senior marketing manager for Leupold & Stevens. “The feedback we get from top competitors like Mark help us build the next generation of rugged, reliable competition optics.”

Four of the top ten in the Scoped Tactical Division used Leupold Optics.
