On the brink of launching its most innovative product line in its history, Simms Fishing Products is reinforcing its team in Bozeman. Simms is proud to announce the promotion of Rich Hohne to Digital Marketing and Public Relations Manager.

A four-year veteran of Simms, Mr. Hohne will oversee all digital content and promotion as well as all media relations for Simms. Hohne will replace the services of Pale Morning Media, the firm of record for Simms’ PR efforts for the previous 6 years.

The promotion of Hohne comes on the threshold of Simms’ aggressive 2014 product launch that will be unveiled at ICAST/IFTD in Las Vegas in July. This launch includes innovative new GORE-TEX® waders, several new outerwear pieces, major refinements of its bourgeoning sportswear line, several new models of wading boots and an entirely new line of fishing packs.

“Rich has been with Simms through an exciting period of growth and this promotion will allow not only the expansion of our in-house marketing department, but also leverage his extensive connections in the fishing industry,” says Diane Bristol, Simms’ Sr. Director of Marketing & Brand Management. “It is with a heavy heart that we split ways with the Pale Morning Media team, but an in-house option is just what we need to prepare for 2014 and beyond.”
