Mossberg Announces Hire of David Miles

Effective September 9, 2013, O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc. is pleased to announce the hire of David W. Miles to the position of Director of Marketing. Miles brings 20 years of industry experience and an extensive knowledge of electronic and broadcast media to the Mossberg marketing team. In his new role, Miles will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s brand strategies and eMarketing initiatives including marketing campaigns, consumer promotions and management of industry partnerships.
Miles most recently served as Director, Electronic Media, with the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) where he spearheaded the construction of their in-house video production studio and managed production of all video assets. During his 11-year tenure at the NSSF, Miles also served as Director, Marketing and Broadcast Media, and in roles overseeing licensing and merchandising. Prior industry experience included stints with the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) and Baron Technology, Inc. Miles is an active competitive shooter and hunter who is equally at home competing in a 3-Gun tactical match or in the field hunting turkey, deer or ducks.
