It’s not uncommon for “steampunk” aficionados to appropriate firearms from time to time, but actual working specimens are relatively rare. While one would think that the addition of mechanical doodads and purely decorative baubles would only be to the detriment of the items involved—well, one would be right. But they look cool, and are often impressive in the fact that they work at all.

Feast your eyes on the steampunk Gatling gun, which actually features steam! The creator of this 60-pound monstrosity claims it was built around the frame of a Ruger 10/22.

Not be outdone, the classic Mosin-Nagant rifle returns in its faux Victorian version:
